Job Description

Job Title: VMC Operator Job Description: As a VMC Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining vertical machining centers to produce precision parts and components. Your role will involve setting up machines, programming CNC (Computer Numerical Control) systems, and ensuring the quality of the machined parts. Key Responsibilities: • Machine Setup: Set up and operate VMC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, milling, and cutting. • Programming: Program CNC machines using G-code or CAM software to execute machining operations accurately. • Material Handling: Load and unload raw materials and finished parts onto and from the machines. • Quality Control: Inspect machined parts using precision measuring instruments like micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure they meet quality standards. • Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines to ensure optimal performance. • Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to understand specifications and requirements. • Process Monitoring: Monitor machine operations, make necessary adjustments, and ensure smooth production flow. Qualifications: • Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in operating VMC machines. • Skills: Proficiency in CNC programming, machine setup, and tooling. Strong understanding of machining processes and quality control. • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machining or a related field is preferred
